NVC receive our DS 230 form and all required document on January 14, now after NVC send all that to embassy and schedule our interview, what we need to do, will NVC schedule our medical exam, or we need to do that, and are there any more thing do be done, like any more paper work, i was reading here there are some packet 3 and packet 4, what will all that?

NVC sets the interview date and sometimes the embassy will contact your wife and give her instructions. However, many times the embassy do not contact you at all and is good that you start doing things by your self. Check the embassy website in the immigrant visa information they usually post the medical exams requirements and the doctors that the embassy work with. Remember the medical is only acceptable from the doctors the the embassy has in their website.

Also, once you see your NVC case # at the embassy website you can e-mail them requesting for information about what to do next. I have seen that some embassy has different procedures. Like at some you can go without an appointment letter and others you have to have the app. letter.

Jan 08: Sing in failed......wow thanks GOD. Jan 11: CASE COMPLETE TOTAL TIME 24 BUSINESS DAYS OR 38 CALENDAR DAYS FOR CASE COMPLETE.

Feb 5: Interview date scheduled. Interview on March 23, 2010

Embassy Journey 1.0

March 23, 2010: Interview date. Wife placed on AP, Baby required new birth cert.

April 21, 2010: Wife out of AP she needs to get an approved I-212 from USCIS, Baby birth cert. issue resolved.

I-212 Waiver @ USCIS Journey

May 10, 2010: Filed form I-212

Sept. 9, 2010: I-212 Approved

Embassy Journey 2.0

Sept. 22, 2010 New Interview date.

Sept 22, 2010 VISA APPROVED.

Waiting for visa to arrive at Cali-Colombia.
