OK, I have copies of three years of tax returns, I filed using TurboTax (2006, 2007) and a professional (2008), so I have copies of them. I did not know that I need to submit the transcript, or the certified copy of the tax reports. Now, she is interviewing in 10 days, I have tickets to go with her, and I just ordered the transcripts from IRS. (http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=110571,00.html)

I have over 4 years of pay stubs available, annual salary of $100K+, account statements of over $100K cash/stock/asset, do you think I still need the transcripts for GUZ?

Thanks!

Bring Everything.

If you are in a hurry, waiting for IRS, re-order the transcrips, but have them faxed to you. fax is 'same day', usually.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Thanks Darnell, you are the best. I called and they faxed them right away, but because I told them that I file a 1040A (I actually filed a different form, so I received a fax with "no record found". I am going to call them again Monday.

Thank you again, you are a big help!

IRS office might be open today, give em a call? (Usually open on Saturdays , during tax season).

Thanks again Darnell, called IRS first thing in the morning and had them faxed me my 3-year tax return transcript and account transcript, takes less than 30 minutes--I was on the phone as the faxes were coming in!

Thank you again!

DJ - for GUZ - usually 3 years of SOMETHING is required, regardless of the general instructions for the I-864.

Notarized tax transcripts are NOT required -

as for 'best' - I dunno , really - I think , in JRSmooth's case, he should bring all. For your case, I think will depend on your situation for $$$, yes?

I look at it this way, ah?

FAXED Tax Return Transcripts are 'more official' cause of the IRS fax header at the top of the page (that little 1/8 inch line) - no need to notarize them - this is official IRS report.

Is a record of 'what you did'

Turbo Tax can not only allow you to print the entire return, but print a summary of every thing (all forms with all data, for form lines with data in it ).

Good Luck !
