Can someone please clarify for me..

1....Is is true that the original birth and marriage certificates that has to be sent in with form DS-230 has to be issued within the last two years.?

2....Can my cousin who lives in same house with me be my co-sponser for the I-864? [i am the petitiner and currently unemployed]

If you have the origina BC, then it would not have been issued in the past 2 years, so NO, but yes you must send originals (or certified copies certified from the country/vital statistics)

Yes, your cousin can be a co-sponsor, does not have to be related...

03/21/2009 - I-130 Mailed to Chicago lockbox

11-30-09: GOT GREEN CARD in mail!!!!!!

Citizenship Process;

1/11/2013: Mailed N400 to Dallas Texas

3/11/2013: interview.. Approved

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!
