Hey guys, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I think I will spend my time worrying. :D My fiancé, Bijad, will have his interview on Tuesday with the Casablanca consulate. Ek! We have talked a lot about it, but it seems it really depends on the mood of the CO. We have practiced questions, although he already knows all about me. I just worry about him getting nervous and delaying his answers. I don't want them to think he doesn't know or is trying to come up with something that may not be the truth. There are a few things that he can never remember, like my phone number or my address. Isn't that what a phonebook is for? ;) I just told him to say that he doesn't remember. We hardly talk on the phone because of the expense and we have sent things to each other, but in truth I have to look up his address as well. I have been praying that he can feel at ease and peaceful. I know it will be a never racking experience, but I have confidence in him. We have already contacted our Senator and she has been looking into our case; just to see where we are, etc.

Please keep us in your prayers and thoughts. I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks,

Teresa and Bijad

Dear Teresa and Bijad,

BEST OF LUCK to you both on Tuesday. I will pray that Bijad feels relaxed and at ease, and that his answers come from his heart. Even if he doesn't have the "right" answer that they are looking for, hopefully they will see that he is sincere and genuine, and not trying to hide anything. And for Teresa, I know you will be a nervous wreck, but try to direct your energy into giving Bijad strength. It will surely be a long night for you while you await his call, but we will be praying for a positive outcome and news of a reunion very soon!! We know where you guys are in this process, our own interview is on the 28th and it is so hard to follow the advice to "just stay cool"! Maybe that would be easier if we were dealing with another consulate! lol

Our best wishes are with you as you await your important day. May God/Allah give you peace, serenity, and strength.

All the best,

~Beth & Salim

Do you see how big the sea is?

Do you see how big the sea is? My love for you is as big as the sea.

Do you see how far the sky is? My love for you is as far as the sky.

As big as the sea and as far as the sky I love you,

I waited for you, I called upon you, I drew you on the promenades,

You sorrow of my life, you tears of the flowers, you season of the birds,

How vast the forest is, my heart is as vast as the forest.

You who are drawn on my door, and drawn in my heart,

I waited for you a year, and throughout the year I would ask the walnut trees,

and I would see you in the sunny days, coming from the sunny days, and lost in the almond leaves,

How small is a tear, and I am just a tear in your way,

I want to vow a candle so that you would let me love you.

Thank you so much and good luck to you! I have been going crazy these last few weeks. I returned from Morocco on January 2nd, 2010 and since then all I have thought about is this interview. I will be glad when it is over and we have an approval. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers and you too will be in mine.

Teresa
