It's been 176 days, have not gottten approval from Vermont??what the heck they are doing??

Was your case transfered to CSC? Call them and ask what they are upto.

My I-130 has a NOA1 of 02/09/06 with no updates or touches since. I just found out a couple of weeks ago that it was sent to CSC, but I don't know when.

Who knows what's going on. I'm getting a bit discouraged.

but mine was originally sent to Vermont and have not received aything like went to CSC, hoping i have a friend who has a NOA 1 from february, thanks friend

Wow. That's a long wait. Isn't it 30 days after the expected processing date now? If Vermont shows that they are working on cases from February 2006, and your case was from January 2006, I would definitely contact somebody/anybody and inquire as to the status of your case! I'm not sure who to tell you to contact - maybe someone else on the site has a better idea on that part. I feel for you!

I Just called USCIS regarding my case, the person sent a service request to USCIS and I should be receiving some info. within 30 days, What is this service request means, would it expedite my case or ask them for searching my case???anyone ??please let me know if u have knowledge of it.
