dont have I797 paper

I sent my I130 on Oct 09 while I was in Vietnam, and 1 week later check was cashed with a receipt number stamped on the back. trying using that receipt number to check my case but I was given the wrong one. Continue waiting for my noa1 to arrive from Oct to Nov, but it was lost in transit, I believed. Emailed uscis complaining and they gave me the right receipt number.

Called uscis today for a noa1 sheet, but they refused to send one. Do I really need this noa1 beside I already had this receipt number?

No. If you're certain you now have the correct case number then you don't really need the NOA1.
