We received our interview letter today!!! We are scheduled for Feb 10. Strangely enough I got a reply regarding the interview being scheduled to an e-mail I sent a week before Christmas about an hour later. But hey who's complaining! Congrats to everyone else who got dates this month and our hopes and prayers continue for those still waiting that they will get a date scheduled soon!

Hey Wyatt....I emailed my request for an appointment in to Woking yesterday after I got the letter...and the confirmation was in my mailbox this mornning for January 20th!! Easy peasy!!!

I booked Westjet return with 2 nights accomodations for $600.00...not bad...

I hadn't thought about packaging my flight and hotel together, but realistically, it's the best way to go. I'll keep that in mind...

We're using our Visa points for the flight. So far we have $230 off the flight (WestJet).

That's pretty cool. Are you...Avioning? :P

If I was a smarter man, I would have been saving my Visa rewards points for travel vouchers, rather than using them every couple of months or so for Starbucks gift cards. :blush:

Then again, if I was a smarter man I also would have gone the K-1 route successfully and not botch it like we ultimately did!
