Hi,

I received NOA1 a couple of months ago and noticed that some people in the timeline had theirs "touched" or even already approved. What is "touched" and how do I find out if mine has been?

Thanks :)

Thanks!

I am registered there and my case status shows 10/27/2009 as Initial Review (same as NOA1 date). That means my case is received but not touched yet?

It doesnt necessarily mean that it hasnt been touched...just they arent updating the site. Mine was stuck on the 24th of November, but I had an RFE sent out on 1 December (dated 25 November). I called on the 15th Dec and they have been good about updating it since...We will see how it goes from here on out. I am in a different boat as i am deployed and I did get approved for expedited processing. If they dont update it for a week, i will call them back to find out what is going on.

I have read on here where people are already approved and in the US and the USCIS site never changed off the initial message.

Thanks, I was talking to my gf earlier today and she was waiting for her fingerprints for citizenship and the site never udpated until after her interview... so that is very possible (although unfortunate :( )

Will call them later today to find out what's going on... hopefully will get our approval very soon! :)

Good luck with your timeline as well :)
