yesterday i had to deal with two old gossiping geese who wanted to give me their opinions about our long wait for my husband to get here. why oh why did my mom raise me to respect my elders

nagi, i just had to remind myself that both of them have been married or lived with various different men, let's just say more than 3 different men a piece. one is a great grandmother who has several children where she was not married to the fathers. and the other one was a frequent husband import from various muslim countries (she is the one that really gets under my skin sometimes). just because of their mistakes she thinks that i have not done my research before i got married. my goodness i have had indian friends throughout high school and college. my degree is in political science international relations with an emphasis in 3rd world countries (india being among them). i stayed in india for 6 months. talked with my husband for over 2 years before we even got married. but yet, i have not done my research, and am very naive, #######?
