I've almost completed our I-130 package to send out in the next few days...just waiting for one more affidavit letter to come in the mail. One thing I wanted to make sure of is the number of G-325A forms to send in. I am seeing 2 different things, even in the past few weeks or so....some people are swearing by sending in 4 copies, and others swear by just the one copy! So I'm not sure if I should err on the side of caution and send in 4, or just the one? Did it used to say something about 4 copies in the instructions of the I-130 package....because now it just says "a form".......

How sad is it that my mind is spending so much time thinking about this stupid little detail! This immigration stuff will do you in, I swear!

Thanks for any help you guys can offer!

They changed the form, it used to be that the G-325A consisted of 4 copies of the same page, now they only have one. It was a recent change, I left to the caribbean for my wedding on july and when i came back on september the new form was up already.

Uscis is still accepting old versions (4 pages) if you want to do it that way, some of us have sent in 4 copies just to be on the safe side. BUT others have sent in the new ONE page form without any problems whatsoever for example "Finnlove" ...

Reminder: Submit Four Copies of Biometric Page on USCIS G-325A Form

August 22nd, 2009

VisaJourney would like to remind all petitioners that are required to file a USCIS G-325A Biographic Information Form to submit four copies of the Biographical Information page (page one on the newest form). In the past the G-325A form contained four pages that automatically printed out (with the same information on all pages). The new form only has one page. VisaJourney will be following up with USCIS to determine if using the new form (as released) and only submitting one copy of the Biographic Information page (as the new form prints) is the method the USCIS intended or if it was a mistake on the form. Until then it is recommend that petitioners submit four copies of the Biographic Information page with their petition. We will provide USCIS’s response to this question here once we get clarification from them.

We used the new form with only one copy and so far, so good.

One word of caution..learn from my mistake...even though it says the USCIS will accept copies..send an original of your divorce decree (if applicable). They have to have the stamp on it saying it was filed with the courts.
