VAWA I-360 APPROVED without RFEs ?

Hello guys,

I have a few questions to ask, am still wondering about it.... Is it possible to approved VAWA I-360 without requesting for RFEs ? I filed on January 12, 2009. I received my 1st Prima Facie Determination on January 13, 2009 which expired on July 12, 2009 also received my 2nd Prima Facie on November 07, 2009 which will expired on May 06, 2010. But I haven't received RFE like everybody else in here. Am confused and getting scared also worried, what is going on ? Is it normal like that or what ? I need opinion of you guys that went through this situations or already going through it right now. I was in removal proceedings but Immigration Judge recently Administratively Closed my case in order for me to seek the benefit am eligible to with USCIS. So my Attorney filed in my I-485 and I-765 concurrently to join my VAWA I-360. My I-360 was fully detailed with lots of evidences and facts. So guys what do you think ?

Wow really ! You never received RFE and you are approved ? How long did ur case last before approval ? I have been waiting and waiting now with 2nd Prima Facie determination but I can't wait any longer I need approval soon. January, 2010 will be 1 year since I filed ( 12 Months ) Some waited for more than 12 months before they ( Vermont Service Center ) started asking for RFE after they've wasted their time, and thats why am been worried. I don't want them to waste my time, if they need something from me they better ask me now. I have suffered enough ! I need approval. Am depressed and anxious everyday in expectant of some kind of news. Anybody in my position will pretty much understand what am going through. I have chronic PTSD, Hallucination, Suicide Ideation, Depression type II due to the Abuse and Extreme Cruelty I faced from my Ex-Spouse. My prayer is for us all to overcome whatever we've been through and move on with our lives. Hang in there guys !!!!!!

I heard many VAWA cases are approved without RFE and they do have couple of PRIMA FACIEs

The RFE's generally about good faith marriage, police report, affidavit, proof of violence, etc.

u r waiting for awhile now based on ur timeline....i recently filed in nov and im hoping my case process within 7 months. i was looking at another comment and this girl got through within 7 months, jus keep the faith and hopefully u will get a respond by jan 30. God bless you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes im still in removal proceeding .i have court dat in late feb 2010 and im hoping i get desision befor that . but my attorney told that he would ask the judg to put off calender tell we heard from vermont . and my attorney just send aletter to Staff Senate Office he told me that she have good relationship with all immigration services centre and she help him with other Client

Am looking forward to hear something about my I-360 from Vermont Service Center this month. I filed my I-485 and I-765 since Dec, 17 2009 till now I never received my receipt notice. I called my lawyer about it but they told me they haven't received nothing from Vermont Service Center either. My lawyer said if we didn't receive the receipt notice by 30 days they will write or call Vermont Service Center hotline to ask why. Is this alright that I haven't received my receipt notice for my I-485 and I-765 by now. If you have experienced this situation please let me know why or what did you know about it.

I finally found a solution to my miseries. I called USCIS this morning about my I-485 and I-765 case, they told me they've received my case and sent out receipt notice to my Attorney on record on Dec 30, 2009. That is a big relief that my case has been received and accepted with fee waiver. Waiting for it now in the mail. Thank God !

Hey Victoryismine....

It was nice reading all yr posts... May God help us all in getting VAWA approved... I just read yr post saying that u called USCIS. Can u plz tell me how do u get them on the fone... cuz i call everyday and i never get to understand how to get the customer representatives on fone... it only speaks about main menu and all the things about different org and cases. Also i have no contact of vermont service center. no email no fone.... can u giv me their contact too and also tell me how to get the customer representatives on fone in USCIS. I will be waiting for yr post..
