it seems the version that will pass requires insurers to cover me regardless of previous health issues, but what about the monthly cost? they can't deny coverage, but what if the quote is 3000 a month for those with issues?

If you've been denied coverage due to a pre-existing condition, you cannot buy coverage today at any price.

What part of 'denied coverage' do you not understand?

DE - the "version that will pass" is still not determined. We still have two bills - a Senate and a House bill - that need to go to reconciliation. And the Senate bill still has to be passed, that is not yet certain.

The Congressional Budget Office said Sunday that the Senate health care bill would not reduce long-term federal deficits as much as previously estimated, acknowledging that it made an "error" in its original analysis.

i'm so bummed out over 55 year olds not being able to buy into medicare. i'm 47 and i will retire way early so this would have been terrific.
