We received the NO2 more than 6 weeks ago. The NVC still hasn't mailed us our case number. My husband called NVC to enquire but was told our case is not in the system. The NO2 instructs us not to call the USCIS Service Centre (California) as they will no longer have our file. Anyone know what we should do? HELP!!

NO! 6 weeks is too much. Do an infopass and find out what's going on. You can call tomorrow try to talk to a supervisor at USCIS if he does not give you any info then the infopass is the way to go. My son's case took 3 week to get to NVC I was worried because my wife's case both approved at the same time made it to the NVC in less than 14 days. So I call USCIS, in spanish because their customer service in spanish is much better for me, and he told me that if by the 4th week your case is not at NVC, do an infopass; we will do a formal inquiry.

if at the infopass you still don't get any answers, go to your congressman they have a special number and access at USCIS.
