Hello all!

I posted this as a thread reply earlier, but since forums were down I'm not sure that it was received. Please excuse me if you've read something like this before.

My basic question is this: what's the general policy on stapling forms?

For instance: Is it acceptable to staple the supplements and attachments to official forms (like the I-129F and g-325a), and to staple descriptions of photocopied evidence (e.g., of having met in the past two years or an ongoing relationship) to those photocopies?

In general, are there any known consequences to stapling things that could be organized differently - with paper clips and such? Is stapling to be considered an offense worthy of an RFE or denial?

Thanks for your thoughts,

AJ

No staples.

Use paperclips.

IMHO :)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I would not use staples.

Use paperclips and Acco fasteners as the USCIS website suggests, I think you'll be on the safe side with that.

I have not heard of RFE's or denials because of staples though. :-)

 for Slovenia!!!

We used paperclips and I would advise not stapling things per the guidelines.
