Come on Steve, this is right out of the Left" play-book.

-Victim gets a pass and those who "judge" are the guilty.

:bonk:

IN fact this piece of trash article supposes that "everyone does it" ....... Blaming all, that the guilty are elevated. It even goes so far as to speculate his wife was perhaps a swinger or in some open marriage agreement, though offering no proof (thats pretty sick)

Soffiya was right on target!

Tiger, who I always admired (even though I don't care for golf) was conning us all, he not only "stumbled" which one might understand....if reports are half correct, he wallowed in the gutters at every opportunity.

However, he certainly is not beyond redemption but down playing his crimes against his family only adds to the climate of acceptable moral failings in our culture.

At some point we have to stop lowering the bar.

If your role models are sports stars, then you've far deeper problems. Sports and celebrities should not be role models for anything other than their performance on the field of play. I've seen just about every Tiger commercial out there and don't recall any where he touted himself, or was portrayed in a manner that showed him as some devout family man.

Come on, who are you kidding, he is a public figure, he speaks at schools and is held up to children as a model of what one can achieve.

It's funny, you guys seem to loose this "carefree" tone when the person is found to have made less than kind comments about Gays or some other NON PC "Scandal".

On the whole I agree, he is just a sports figure, but few in recent time have been looked up to by us all as Tiger has, to pretend his value and relevance to society as a whole stops at the golf course is a grave error.

I've been a fan of Tiger's since he was a kid. Tiger's betrayal is that he sold his image for far more than he earned at golf, and that image was of a disciplined, respectful family man. That there were so many in concert with him to facilitate, enable and beard his deception is evidence of his arrogance and lack of conscience. I don't care what color you are, it's still what you do when no one's watching that defines your true character. The color of his wife and multiple bimbos is only of peripheral concern. He disrespected each of them and his fans, in the process.
