Another NOA-2 for a spanish country [CUBA] on 1/29/10 from the Dec.09 filers. Filed on 12-14-09 and NOA-2 already!!!!

I think it's a coincidence still, PJ. Once again, USCIS .... there's just no system there, it's a gamble, we will all win in the end, but it's still hard to wait heh

October people are getting their NOA-2s and it seems like October is almost wrapped up.

I'm not a huge optimist, but I see things moving along and I'm content with it, because I can't stress out over this anymore or I'd go insane.

They can background check me for IMBRA and all that ####### all they want - I was never married. So by any of that logic, non-married people with rare names should be approved first - no, doesn't work like that.

I'm just gathering all the info needed for the embassy now, to take my mind off this sh!t.

For you this IMBRA will not affect you.. In 2002 this did not exist.. I am on the Jersey Shore and I have a possession of CDS from 20 years ago and the police report associated me with Pagans and Wheels of Soul out of Phili....This is what pisses me off the most.. Why hold sh!t against me from when I rode with these clubs 20 years ago? I know that the FBI and Homeland Security does the background checks and they see the exact reports that were filed.. My brother works for DHS and he told me do not be surprised if this ride is a long one for me..I have all my info ready for the embassy also along with the money for the AOS..........I even get a FREE flight to Bogota, Colombia from being a frequent flier mile member and having 75,000 miles ............All this and 50 cents will get me a local phone call ..... But does nothing to keep me thinking I will get approved in a timely fashion...

The 1-25-10 touch gives me a bad feeling!!!!!!!

Anytime Matt ...........Feel free to PM me ........ Just don't ask me anything about IMBRA ! This is all Greek to me.........Jersey Shore and Seaside Heights ROCKS as you know.........Tourist season is a downer............They come here to spend money and think it is OK to toss the empty beer bottles/cans on my property.....But it's all good......Summer in SSH Rocks big time !!!!!!! BTW no I never heard of Simmons lake...Do you know how many lakes are up there in ? Hell ........if people have a pond in their backyard they name it and call it a lake...LOL LOL LOL

Example..........My best friend's last name is Simmons I would not be surprised if they [your family] are in a feud over who owns it.!!!

I'm electing you team captain for Dec 09 and for your upbeat and positive attitude with all this USCIS stress we are all feeling... Again as I posted a few weeks ago I did an I-129f in 2002 and this system was fast as hell. Then in 2004 I did a I-130 for her daughter and also was quick. Now they have this IMBRA thing that did not exist back then I believe it came out in 2007 due to many cases of spousal abuse and now we all suffer with background checks. Even if you are clean [and I am not ,[ Not for spousal abuse ]but sent in the proper requested documents]. I believe they do not do anything different for any one application as you say because they have caught people not being up front in the past and alot of RFE's were issued. Now they check and re-check everybody from 18-80 yrs. old. This is the only logical reason I can think of.. At least we are the calmest of all K-1 filers.. The October and November people are really stressed out.. Have you read some of the posts going on in those 2 months?...... Mabye I should share my chill pills with them................

The November filers are so ambitious. I can't believe that they are actually viewing every case number for November and parts of October. I guess all of that researching takes their minds off of the waiting. Whatever it takes to make it through this tough process. I'm just happy to see somebody receive their NOA2, no matter when they filed. We went almost 2 weeks without any approvals in Dec. The October list is shrinking, so they should start on November soon.

Hey PJ, I think I could use a couple of your chill pills. lol :D

Hey PJ, I think I could use a couple of your chill pills. lol :D

Mark and Carol,

I agree....I have no new news ............. But I wanted to wake up this idle post.. It has been quiet here for a week now....

Myself and Mapt are dealing with a Blizzard as I speak with 2 feet of snow that fell on us in the past 20 hours........Total white out !!

Vermont did not have anything so they cannot use a school day for an excuse to not go to work.................LOL...........

Vermont is processing. Slowly, but they are. I-129Fs are just not a priority at the moment. They might shift back on it soon, or not, who knows, but either way, we will all get there. I just hope it's before the 5 month mark, because that is when I'm a just lose it :P

I feel for you guys...I can relate because I lived in Ohio during the blizzards of '77-78. We had snow coming out of our ears. I finally got smart and moved to Florida in '83.

When I filed my petition, I was expecting to wait 4 months so if I receive my NOA2 by the end of March, then I'll be happy. Although as we all know, it's extremely hard to wait especially when VSC is making very little progress.

As the "soup nazi" says, "No school day for you, VSC." lol

Top top it all off...12-20" projected here Tuesday-Wednesday, so yeah, FUN.

As far as the waiting time goes.... we were just hoping for NOA2 around early April (4 months), so that the interview can be done by mid-May (Kiev is fast in turning around the interviews).

All in all, I'm going back to the "team_captain_chill_mode". It is extremely hard to wait, but it's been two months already, so we are almost halfway there (I have trust in VSC to turn this around in 5 months).

I say in mid-March we'll start seeing "congrats" posts on this thread :)
