Yup. I agree, get the blood flowing into the area and that should help a bit, maybe a magic bag or something. I don't know how much of the problem is inflammation, in which case an ibuprofen or something similar might be a good idea. I wonder if Bren spoke up about the pain.

Thanks Sandy. I'm starting to get a bit frustrated because my doughs keep coming out as lumps rather than nice doughs - I have to add water to get them to come together.

do you have an electric mixer? you need to cream together the butter and sugar for awhile to get the best results.

Yep, it's not that, believe me. lol My ginger snaps don't use butter in them and they turned out the same way. Our house really is just dry.
