As long as they're fit to carry and not prone to violence... then we could certainly agree that guns don't kill people.

does it not bother you that there is a movement out there to take away your guns, and leave you helpless to some nutcase with a gun?

the government won't protect you. 911 isn't quick. maybe praying might help.

Nobody could be more prepared for gun violence than four armed police officers sitting down to morning paperwork and a cup of coffee and yet:

This happens!!!! Ya, guns are great charles...

or just maybe, they were not situationally aware.

And thus the argument made over and over, guns are necessary to protect oneself gets weaker and weaker.

Clearly these officers should have drank their coffee, and worked at their laptops with guns drawn, safeties off, one eye on the laptop screen, one eye on the look out for a 'safely' armed individual looking to gun them down...

if you want to be silly, feel free. however, just because there's 4 in a coffee shop that does not mean their numbers make them safe, as shown in that one thread. keeping one's guard up is necessary.

I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.

How was that dude 'safely' armed if he was looking to gun down some cops?

This is where the "let's ban guns" folks really lose me. So a criminal kills some cops at a coffee house. Are you "more safe" if we make "more laws" to ban guns? I'm pretty sure it was already illegal to shoot cops in WA.
