I'm a college student and planning to propose and file my I-129f in December. Once I get the NOA2, I need to send my girlfriend the form about finances right? I134?

Is it going to be a problem for me to show that I can support her? What should I include with this form?

I've got a part time job, but I'm only making 600 dollars a month. I have about $5000 in savings. My mother, stepfather, and father can all support me to an extent. So how do I prove that? How much do I have to show that I can support my girlfriend?

And how can I prove that? I think it says include tax forms and paychecks, but I haven't paid income taxes...ever. I've never made enough money, and I've also been Japan the last two years as a missionary (volunteer). My paychecks are direct deposit so what should I do?

Thanks! Sorry if this I've been asked a billion times before. Still haven't figured things out on this site yet!

You will need a co-sponsor. You will include them on the I-134 and include their taxes.

you need to meet the 125% povertyline and not sure if my math is correct but you make about 7200 before tax a year. You do not meet the 125% povertyline. Even with your savings you dont meet the line. Like the poster above states you need a co-sponser for your soon fiance, they dont sponser you they sponser her.

2 person family poverty line is 18,212$

This isn't exactly true. They are not included on the I-134, they will need to submit their own. So even if you do not meet the minimum requirement, you will be her primary sponsor. You should get payslips, even if you're paid by direct deposit. You can also support your affidavit with a letter from your employer and also your bank, as well as a letter explaining why you don't have a tax return to include.

Your co-sponsor must be one person who earns enough money of their own accord to support your fiancee and anyone else who is listed on their tax return as a dependent. So if your higher-earning parent is going to be your co-sponsor, and they list you and their spouse as dependents on their tax return, then they will need to demonstrate an income that is sufficient for 4 people. The link that was provided details exactly how much it is currently.

Take your time reading the guides and the K1 forum. You might find it helpful reading the regional board for Japan too, as every embassy has its own quirks.

Good luck!
