Is this the same as the I-130?

When you love someone from the bottom of your heart; so much that you are willing to give your life for your loved one, time and distance takes a backseat. Only love prevails. And with love in your hearts you can overcome anything.

Hi mstangie and welcome,

I think you have wandered in to the wrong forum (this is the Canada forum) but i'm sure someone will move your post.

The I-130 is the first step in filing for a CR1 visa.

You will probably want to have a look at the guides. Just click on the Guides link at the top of this page :)

No I'm not in the wrong forum. My husband lives in Montreal, and I can't seem to change the country.

:)

To do that, click on My Controls from the top right hand side of this page. On the left hand side of the page that opens you will see "edit my profile" - click on that and then just change the country to Canada where it says Country of non-US Fiance / Spouse / Family Member.

Another handy feature on the side is the "My Assistant" link in the top right hand side of this page.

You can Edit / Add your timeline, edit your forums signature, look up your last 10 posts etc .
