Hi All,

i am on J 1 visa and i got married few months ago with a US citizen. i had 2 year rule in my passport so i aplied for a vaiwer (no objection). i've just check my status and is says "favorable recomendation". my question is what does it mean??? and can I aply for AOS right away or schould I wait for something else??? my husband just got laid off from work so i really need to get my work permition fast.

You will most likely need a sponcer since your husband was laid off, but what else would you wait for? Filing AOS as soon as possible is usually the best thing to do.
