We moved to CA last June, filed AR11 change of Address 2 weeks after we moved. They received my son's I485 Application on July 5,2009 received the I-797 NOA a few weeks after that to our new address. I checked his case status online just now and I got this message.

On November 16, 2009, the post office returned the notice we last sent you on this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS as undeliverable. This may have serious effects on processing this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update your mailing address for this notice to be re-sent.

So, I called 1-800# and she gave me a referral number and said that if I dont hear from them within 45 days, call them back.

What should I do? I really don't know what to do next. Please help!!

And what is infopass??

INFOPASS explained here.

Make an appt here.

I was going to reccomend you go to your nearest ASC but I'm not sure if not having the appt letter will be a problem or not. Perhaps an infopass appt is your best bet.

K1: 01/15/2009 (mailed I-129F) - 06/23/2009 (visa received)

AOS: 08/08/2009 (mailed I-485, I-765, & I-131) - 10/29/2009 (received GC)

Aside from making an infopass,it would help if you will write all your names in your mailbox so that the mailman will deliver all your letters.it happened to my son's original bio appt letter,i also got the same email as u got,but luckily,USCIS Boise ID sent us a photocopy of our bio appt letters and those were the ones that we brought when we did our walk-in appointment here at NM.One day,I chanced upon our mailman and asked him why my son never got his letter when he used to receive it before,so he(mailman) asked for his name and looked at his box,he found it and it turned out that it was his EAD,i was so thankful i asked him otherwise it'll be sent back to its origination.

Did you ask for service request? we had the same problem also, the diff we didnt move. If you already have appt assign you can ask if they are willing to fax it to you... if you already did a service request, it will take usually about a week. We called 1800 # also on 11/16 and we received the letter last Friday. Yes they will tell you to wait for about 30-45 days... hope this helps...
