Hello, I in still in the process of I-751; and I might have to depart the states for more than 6 months after 10 year GC received.

I just curious if I can apply for I-131 reentry permit while my I-751 still in process?

Thank you.

2007 Oct: Received PR green card

2011 Nov: Voluntarily Abandoned PR green card (due to relocation oversea). Received FREE B1/B2 & C1/D Crew US visa

2024 APR: Planned for EB2-C from Taiwan as Professional Pilot

You have no control on how long the 751 process can take, therefore the date for your LONG leave (after 10 year green card) is not confirmed.

I would apply for a re-entry permit after confirming my date of departure.

I see; do you know if I am eigible to apply reentry permit (I-131) before I-751 approved? (as an conditional PR during the one year extension)

Appreciate your info.
