I had my interview on 12th Nov and was told that they will post my visa in 1 week, should I go ahead and book my flight ticket or wait for the visa

any suggestions? Also some say that they post by batches every Mondays is it true ?

Congratulations!!

I'd actually wait as I never trust anything that Montreal says Lol. Wouldn't want to put the added strain on waiting for it to arrive with having to deal with the possible cancelation of a flight or something.

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

When I was waiting for my visa from Montreal my tracking number never worked. I even signed up for the e-mail alerts. The one and only time I got a message is when it said delivered and I already had it in my hands. So its possible your visa went out Missmystery!

With that said I would still wait. You never know with the mail system when something is going to be delivered and paying to change flights can get a little pricey.

But congrats on the approval!
