What I need to find out is how to extend the date my I-129F is valid for. My K3 visa is taking forever to get an interview (sent in packet 3 Aug30) and still haven't got packet 4. The I-129F says it's not valid too much longer. I don't know if it matters considering that stage I'm at but how do I extend it? The NVC site says a consular official will do it. I've sent emails to Montreal but no one has gotten back to me yet. Thanks.

I believe that the NOA2 will automatically extend itself with Montreal, but you can extend if it makes you feel better about it.

The example to extend it is the last one in the K1 section here:

You may want to change the wording around a bit.

Though, maybe someone with more K-3 experience can re-affirm my answer.
