Well, my visa's getting no where. I just checked the site again and there's been no update.

There's a guarantee on the delivery too.

I wonder if I can get my money back. Ugh. Next day noon my foot.

They'll refund you for the postage if show them that it wasn't delivered on time. Takes a couple of months, but it happened to me and I got a cheque back.

Do they ask for a copy of the receipt?

Cause I think I accidentally threw mine out...

I think I received mine around 1pm (dad signed for it - I had him come over while i went to an appointment so that someone would be home at all times).

Interviewed Friday. Visa issued that Friday. Package was logged in montreal post office Tuesday. Wednesday was a holiday, and I received the visa on Thursday 1pm.

Of course depending on the day of the interview it'll be slightly different. Good luck to all waiting on their visas!

And just to add, sorry if this adds stress, but my fiance's name was spelled wrong on my visa. I decided to just go ahead and NOT email about it or anything. I crossed over just fine. Birth date is correct, passport number is correct (ignore the bottom numbers which appears to be a combination of the passport number and some MTL number.

It's kinda neat to have an alien number.

nanoo nanoo.

Oh bummer. I can't find my receipt anywhere.

Eh, oh well.

My mom looked up the consulate's postal code and it says from there to my house takes two days, even though my envelope says next day at noon.

So contradictory.

Mine hasn't even updated, still just the Montreal thing :(

Mine says its in Mississagua as of 5:30 am yesterday. Around 4:30 pm, I asked the post office if it will get here in time and they said that it would get here by "tomorrow" (which meant Thurs).

Im annoyed as the regular postage from MTL to TO is 2 business days and that xpresspost postage should just be 1 day.

I think it will get there by today, Rhiann.

Finally married... and still married... ;)

Mine hasnt even updated that it's been to Mississauga :(

And the reason mine takes an extra day is because I live in a rural area, so they have to add on an extra day.

It sucks.

If I dont get it today I will rage, since even then it's supposed to be there.

Thing is, it's already passed the time they usually put our mail in the mailbox, so I'm worried.
