I-864EZ Question - I can fill out alone?

I previously applied for the K1 with co-sponsors.

Now that I am doing the AOS, I believe I will be able to use the I-864EZ form without co-sponsors as I make over the poverty line ($40,000).

Does this sound acceptable? Will they give me a RFE since I had co-sponsors before but not now?

Just be aware of the reasons why it could possibly require a Joint Sponsor... Based on your income, you should file without any JS... but realize that discretion can discount the single aff. of Support still. I would think it's unlikely, but they can require a JS based on the following:

"The final rule does specify, however, that, if the sponsor satisfies all other requirements of section 213A of the Act, a sufficient income will ordinarily make the affidavit of support sufficient, unless, on the basis of the specific facts of a given case, the deciding officer finds that the sponsor has not demonstrated his or her ability to maintain that income over time."

I guess the moral of the story is, to make sure you demonstrate this income is sustainable into the future; A solid employee letter, consistent, full time employment with regular paychecks, etc..
