Contacting Montreal with questions?

I've read in a couple threads somewhere about someone advising to contact the Visa issuing consulate with questions and I'm wondering if anyone has contact information for Montreal and any experience regarding responsiveness and helpfulness of the process.

is there a number or email?

I have an interview appointment now and need to clear up a few questions.

Hi and welcome,

There is only one way to contact the Montreal consulate and that is via email to Montreal-IV-DV@state.gov

They vary on response times, some people get a response within a day or two, some it takes longer. Be sure to put your case number in the subject line and the beneficiaries name and date of birth in the email.

I emailed the Montreal consulate three or four times about questions I had and almost always, they returned the email within hours, I think there was one that I didn't get till early the next day. I agree with trailmix, its email only unless something has changed.
