G-325a Question

I am doing the AOS for my wife, who came here as my fiance on a K-1 visa, and her 9 year old daughter who came here on a K-2 at the same time.

On the G-325a, where it reads "This form is submitted in connection with", a VJer told me to write in "AOS Form I485" However, I was just looking at the VJ example forms and on the example, the box for "Status as a Permanent Resident" is checked.

Does anyone know which is correct?

I wrote Status as a Permanent Resident...it sounds logical to me as we all apply for green card.I hope I am right

Do not read too deeply into the question. It is quite a simple question, and the appropriate response for your case is to check the box "Status as Permanent Resident." Keep in mind the intent of the I-485 is to adjust status and in your case it is to that of a Permanent Resident, so again, do not read too deeply into the question.
