Questions for I-765

Hi Everyone,

I am submitting the AOS for my wife who came here on a K-1 and her daughter who came here on an K-2. I want to submit the I-765 form for my wife. I have three questions about the I-765 form:

1) Do I send this in with the same package for AOS (I-485, etc.)? Does it all go together to the same address.

2) On question 15, I assume I answer "K1 visa Applying for AOS." Is that correct?

3) My biggest concern is with question 16. Though we are just submitting AOS now, my wife has been here for almost 8 months. I read on another post on VJ that we should put ©(9) as putting (a)(6) would only give her 3 months EAD. Does anyone know if © (9) is correct? If so, going back to my first question here, do I send this in with the same AOS package to the same address?

Yes - you may send it together with the I-485 etc. Be sure to include any required supporting document/evidence.

I followed the Example Form and wrote "K-1"

"C" "9" is correct and AOS, EAD and (if desired) AP will all be sent to the Chicago lockbox address.
