There are so many websites that help immigrants study and practice for their citizenship test. The question is which online class most closely represents the real face-to-face, one-on-one interview? Here are a few of them - which one do you think is best for an immigrant with average command of English? I have a few students who are nervous about their interviews and want to do additional practice before they go in:

1. Citizenship Coach: http://citizenship-test.citizenshipcoach.c...hp?url=testings

2. Immigrantion Quiz: http://www.immigrantionquiz.com/?gclid=CL-...CFYdd5QodzVMhpQ

3. This website: http://aenet.esuhsd.org/citizenship_lesson...lization_Q.html

4. USCIS: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem

I got my citizenship last year, now I'm volunteering as a teacher. So I'm doing a general research on this. Thanks for your input.

Lo,

You got a good list of sites there already. There are some more sites out there from what I recall, but if you ask me, none fit my bill. My main issues are that they are all too busy or that you have to sign up. When I prepared for my test I created my own test site. It is very simple but it works fine. Feel free to check it out and use it as you wish. I got some good feedback on this forum from users who tried it early on and I changed it according to their suggestions (no duplicate questions etc etc).

Here is a link to it: Civics test.

There is even a link to a Spanish version on it for users who prefer that. All questions are 100% identical with the official version as I used PDF documents to get the text in html form (no error prone manual typing in other words).

Enjoy!

hello,

when my wife went for her biometrics appt, the office gave her a sample questions book which had the audio portion in the CD as well.

she used to listen to those questions in the CD (the same questions are in the book)....

the interviewer asked the questions from the book and CD....

these are also available in the USCIS site, AKA sample 100 questions...

if you review and memorize them for the interview you will be all set.....

Cheers
