name check for I-129F petitioner

any one knows if USCIS will do the name check for every I-129F petitioner? If so, it will be very time consuming.

I'm pretty sure if you have filed after the IMBRA law was put into place, there will be a brief criminal background investigation on the petitioner.

any background check in this country takes just minutes... but... the question is how many people this particular officer has to check, how long before your file actually lands on a desk of the person who does those checks, etc.....
