Hello,

we are finishing up our IV packet (for cr-1) and read that 2 passport style photos should be sent in with this packet too. My question is, how many passport style photos do I need for the rest of this journey? i.e medical? interview? I want to get all of them done and printed off and want to be sure I am getting the right number.

Thanks so much

We had 2 for the medical, and 2 at the interivew, but embassy asked for a new one when we were there, we showed them another set, they said they did not want any of the pics to match.

So get new for medical, and right before interview, have new (2) ones made. Best I can offer you in your question.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Really it depends where you are having your medical. If it is in Toronto at Seiden & Associates - they ask for 3, they used to do medicals in Calgary as well and I think my Husband had to take 3 there as well. You will also need 2 for the interview in Montreal.

Thank you! Is it three different sets (IV packet, medical, interview) that they want?

Does it matter if they match? I had 2 photos left of him from the USCIS stage and since I electronically filed, I scanned those photos of my husband and sent them on to the NVC and figured I could use those for either the medical or the interview. But doesn't the consulate in Montreal ask for Canadian passport photos not US passport photos? I could just wait for the e-mail, but hubby is such a procrastinator that I'm asking him to go get his blood titer test now since he doesn't have his shot records. I'd like him to get his photos done now too so no rushing around later. And he calls me pokey! HA!!

No they ask for U.S. photos and will generally accept Canadian.

As for the matching, no, you don't have to have the same one at the medical and interview for instance.

To the OP - yes, photos for NVC 2, 3 for the medical, 2 for the interview.
