what exactly are the affidavits of proof a relationship suppose to say? how many are you suppose to have and who are they suppose to be from?

People who attended the wedding, people who have known you as married for quite a while, people who are your friends and you are spending a lot of time with, Family members. etc etc etc

It states that they are witness to your relationship/ marriage/ married life etc etc etc and they are signd and dated by hand by the person.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

Do they have to be notarized?

Nope! just make sure they sign and date them by hand, you can have them notarized if you wish but its not required. Have them make 2 copys both original signature just incase as well. We had our familys do that incase uscis may lose one or if they ask for it at the interview we have a exact copy with the signatures.

I think you can use them for either the mail in or provide them for the interview... I've just started the process, I know for the interview they require more evidence of the marriage, not sure the specifics of what they suggest on the interview letter...

But if you're asking in terms of the AOS packet:

My husband and I used affidavits for our I-130 evidence of the bonafides of the maritial relationship. You don't have to but as we'd only been married 10 days when we filed we didn't have that much joint financial stuff...

We got 6 affidavits... I googled it and found some examples and also used the examples on the VJ forms page (they aren't specifically for AOS but definitely helped). I also read that it's preferred they be from US citizens and perm. residents... Since you can throw in a phrase at the end like: `I swear on the laws of the united states that the foregoing is correct...' or something like that... Also on the I-130 instructions it lists what they need to include...

We got them from - my husband's parents, his brother, friends etc...
