Cambutler 3/13/07

Thanks. I was trying to figure out the other person (Cambutler) going for the interview.

(fingers crossed)

Do you recall the times of their interviews?

Not really but I think they were in the afternoon.

[My fiance received his letter for the interview today. In it they sent new copies of the DS230 Par I and II, which I have already done on line, but they also sent a blue slip and written in bold letters it said that he had to report to the embassy doctor BEFORE going to a clinic for his medical. Now he has already done his medical at a clinic in Kingston for our last interview and I am hoping that this is not something that has to be done before next week. Every time I start to relax and feel confident they throw something new at us. Any advice would be appreciated.

Good Luck to all with interviews this month!

I wish I wish I had an answer

I would try to call them.

Congrats to TexasBound  and Good Luck to you with upcoming interviews (F)

Mindy brought up a good point - we "veterans" did a lot of file and form exchanging (via postal mail and scanned documents sent in email) so we were ahead of the game dealing with Kingston embassy, and knowing what to look for. Members that have gotten approved recently should consider doing this, starting a list of who has what or who is willing to scan what and you can share this info with those that request it (blacking out personal info). It may sound crazy, but to the boardies that have done this (myself included), it lifted a huge weight off my shoulders.

I decided on that house. My granny and I went to look at it today. It's a special gem. I really could see us not living there. My granny lives 10 minutes away and I couldn't live that close to her. She is so against our marriage. Divorce is what she says will become of us. We aren't like my parents she said who have been married for 35 years. She asked why isn't he here yet shouldn't he be. You have been waiting since you got married and he could try a little hard to be here with you. If he loved you he be here now. I said the visa takes a while. Right now the negativity makes me not want to live next to her. A bad in law for us would spell bad news. She was negative about helping full fill his dream of college and told me he should pay and let him go into debt. This small minded woman has left a bad taste in my mouth. Do you guys run into these type of family members?

Here is a question what were some of your favorite tourist places in Jamaica?

Jumping off the cliff at Rick's Cafe and seeing the sunset

Dunn Rivers Fall

Caving in the back country near Sav

ATV riding in Mount Zion

Rose hall Great House

wave runners on the beach in Negril

Tubing on the White River (near Ochi)

Hanging out on the Cool Jazz catamaran w/ Tony's old work friends

Partying at Margaritaville on Wed. nights

Margaritaville how could I forget. That was a blast.

Wishing I was going JA for Spring Break. 10 more days until break.
