:crying: Hi Guys,

I failed NVC on Nov 02, Now per AVR/ NVC operators I am missing passport police cert.

Two different operators at NVC told me that it is just a False RFE ( they said my case will be completed in 1-2 days) and I have to provide Passport Cert at embassy, New Delhi.

Now I got checklist cover letter in email from NVC and per email they told me send Cert to NVC. Anybody been through this? Please help

I am so confused.

Did you send in that passport PCC? If yes, then it is a false RFE.

If no, you have two options. Get that PCC immediately and send it back.

Or try and convince someone at NVC that you will present it at the time of interview. I have heard this works in Mumbai but not so much in New Delhi.

I did not send it, my mistake. I sent the Police Clearence Cert but not the Passport Police cert. They need both from India. I will try convincing NVC since it says on checklist : If you are unable to obtain the document without an official request you will need to

reapply once receiving your Interview letter from the National Visa Center and bring the document at the time of

your visa interview.

Well, apply for PCC from the RPO first thing tomorrow morning. I got mine in 8 days. Even though I don't have my NOA2 yet. And I'm absolutely jealous that you got yours in 23 days. Seriously, what did you do?

In the meantime, call NVC and clarify with a supervisor. Or better yet, email. And save that email response.

Nothing special I did. I was hoping to get NOA 2 some time in Oct-Nov. But I see some other people got that in 15-20 days.

Hi Gundas, Did email checklist from NVC said you can submit at VFS or Operator at NVC?

I just spoke to an NVC agent and she told me that in Mumbai you can show PCC at interview but not in Delhi.

yeah, i can log in. when i called last week, she said everything is perfectly fine, except we will not complete your case until your husband sends in the passport pcc. we had only previously submitted the district pcc. i am hoping to have it completed before next friday. did you try to ask the operator to see if your's got completed anyways? maybe you had luck on your side. our avr now reflects that it was missing.

I talked to operator but got 2 different answers.

yesterday I talked to 2 operators and both said they dont request Passport PCC and I will submit that interview.

Today another operator told me that I have to send PCC to NVC (she said everything else is complete and just need PCC and my case will be done), PCC at interview works for Mumbai but not Delhi.

do you have it on hand, or do you have to go get it? my husband went in early in the morning to get it.

I dont have it yet. When I saw your post last week, I decided to get it. But Monday was holiday in India and Tuesday all the offices were closed due to strike in Punjab. I will tell her to go tomorrow to get it. Hopefully we get tomorrow.
