Unrelated. One is about improving a society (community), the other is about crying it's not fair.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

I agree with the majority of posters that think a reduced sentence was a bad decision. If someone is mentally ill (the defense used) & commits a crime then they should serve time, period. If that means getting treatment while behind bars I'm OK with that, but they are still a menace to society & thus shouldn't be free.

Again. Your posts are completely off topic and have nothing to do with the OP.

A persons genes were used as an excuse to lower a sentence. Therefore, much like certain animals are more vicious than others, it can be said that certain people are more likely to commit crime.

Or are you just going to stick with the 'defenses' excuse that he was mentally ill?

Violent genes do not equal "neanderthals". That's factually incorrect.

I am sure it's only a matter of time before two particular demographics receive more lenient sentences here too. The last excuse will be that they cannot help themselves.

I wonder which gene it is that promotes graffiti and trashing your areas.
