I was reading the consulate website where my fiancee will go for her interview, and they talk about a slew of vaccinations that may be necessary. Will they do these at the exam, or must she get these before the exam. The list seems too long to reasonably do them all prior, but they don't mention doing vaccinations at the exam.

You will probably need to get them prior to the interview (as in, when you do the medical first).

Depends on the embassy/consulate your going to. Ankara required them prior.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Kiev does not require ANY vaccinations or record therof for issuance of a K-1 visa or K-2 visa. You will be required to either have her get the required vaccines or show proof of them for the AOS process.

Unless your fiancee was hiding under a rock during the Soviet period she has likely had all she needs (Varicella being required only for women under age 27) She can get her vaccination records from the hospital or clinic where she had them. These were remarkably easy for us to get for Alla and the two boys. Bring these to the medical exam. At the medical exam clinic they will transcribe this onto the DS-3025 form, free of charge. KEEP this form, you do NOT need it for the interview, it is for AOS later.

IF she cannot do this, then she will have to repeat the vaccinations here when she arrives. Despite what anyone tells you, this does not have to be done by a Civil Surgeon under any circumstances...do NOT buy into those thieves! You can get the needed vaccinations at your local helath department (probably for free) or your family doctor. Send the documentation of the vaccinations to Dr. Arnold in Texas, he will sign off on them for $30 (he is a civil surgeon). Other civil surgeons tend to refuse unless you go through a medical exam (unnecssary) and many unneeded vaccines at a cost of $500, $800, $1000 or more. Bigger ripoff than immigration attorneys. See the pinned topic at the top of the page regarding info from a director at VSC regarding this very issue.

The list of vaccines needed and Dr. Arnold's address is somewhere here on this site. I am just not one of those "attach a link" kinda guys.

We successfully adjusted status for three people using ONLY the DS-3025 form (all three had all necessary vaccinations previously in Ukraine)

Just a suggestion... I know your fiancee is from Ukraine, but others don't. You should list her country in your profile. This will help you two ways. It will automatically put any of your topics into the "Ukraine portal" This is a great place to check and the first place I go when I sign in. No matter what topic you post about, in any forum, it will show up in the Ukraine portal and all other members that use that consulate will see it. Plus it gives you all sorts of news from Ukraine (at least as accurate and up to date as a Ukrainian mother-in-law!)

The second advantage is all other members will be able to see which consulate you use and give specific information which affects you.

Another great place to check out is the Russia/Ukraine/Belarus subforum below. Lots of great folks dealing with the same culture/language/regional consulates etc. A much lighter and usually funnier version of the "immigration forums" with lots of local information. You want to find out what you need for the interview...post here. You want to know which bus to take...check the RUB sub-forum.
