What does the oath letter look like? A letter from DO or from USCIS center (like NOAs) ?

It's a simple form letter from the DO that specifies the date and place of the oath ceremony and has a number of questions on the back covering some of the items you answered on the N-400 with respect to the time frame from your interview to the oath ceremony. You need to answer the questions, provide your current address, sign and date the letter (with the place and date being that of your oath ceremony). They will collect the letter, your Green Card and any other USCIS issued documents you may have and issue your naturalization certificate at the ceremony.

Thank you for your answer Mr Big Dog. :)

See for yourself at Oath Form N-445.

Can just about find anything on the web, but would be a lot easier if all that extra BS was eliminated.

Thank you for posting the oath letter form, NickD. :)

I have been waiting for my oath letter, I have been interviewed.

I am now a US citizen.

NickD-Thanks for posting that form here too! I just downloaded that...very helpful, indeed...Now I know what an oath letter looks like...learn something new every day here on vj..lol....

To Everyone-

By the way, for question 1...

AFTER the date you were first interviewed on your Application for Naturalization,

Form N-400:

1) Have you married, or been widowed, separated or divorced? (If "Yes," please

bring documented proof of marriage, death, separation or divorce.)...

Umm..If I'm married to the same USC spouse (whom I gained residency from) on the day of the oath ceremony...do I have to bring documentation on the oath date that states this too? For example, do I have to bring my marriage certificate to the oath ceremony?

Sorry..the wording seems a bit unclear here (lol..as it is with all USCIS forms...)....need further help here..thanks...

Ant - the questions pertain to AFTER the N400 interview (in my case the OL actually said 'SINCE' the interview), so no you don't need to bring marriage cert etc to the Oath. All you will need for Oath is your GC (kiss that goodbye!) and OL, and if applicable any details of travel/speeding tickets etc that happen AFTER the interview.

Good luck for your Interview!

Wannabe_texan-Thanks for your reply regarding the oath letter, and for clearing that issue up for me...Lol..Now it makes sense....I guess I was reading too much into things, and thought they meant "are you (still) married, after/since you filed for the N-400"....(which in that case, would be yes, and thought I had to bring my marriage cert. to prove that). Hmmm...I guess they meant..."have you re-married..." (which in that case, would be no...). Seriously, I think the USCIS should re-word all their forms to make the instructions and directions more clearly...gee....

For the oath, as asked, I'll just bring the 10yr green card (which I waited for 10 months for, and only got 6 months use out of if my oath is in December...what a waste!), my husband, the baby, the baby's stuff, and whatever else required. And no, I'm not travelling again until I get US Citizenship (though it's tempting...as I can see Canada from Buffalo, NY..lol..), and I've never had a speeding ticketing and don't plan on getting one either (lol..I drive too slow for my own good..), so no worries about 'declaring' that either...

Thanks for the luck for the interview...yikes...I can't believe the interview is only 2 weeks away...definitely need luck there..lol...
