I would like to asked this in advance, Is that possible i can request pick up VISA at USEM?

It's because my interview is on NOVEMBER 06, 2009, then if ever they will sent my VISA it will

go to MINDANAO ( DAVAO CITY ) and my plan is i will not go back to DAVAO city.

My flight will be in MANILA to USA once i get my visa on HAND.

And I am 6 months pregnant .

The USEM allowed this?? who ever try to REQUEST pick up VISA?

and how long that it will takes?

hey sheila, u can request and if the CO does not let u pick up the visa then give the address in manila of the hotel where u stay and u will get it in 2-3 days, good luck, abby n sheryl

Hi Sheila,

Are you from Davao? I am from Tagum City, Davao, just 55 kilometers from the city.

Anyway, I guess you can request for a visa to be picked-up at USEM since you are pregnant. I heard that they will only allow that in emergency cases but we really do not know as I have not read anything like that in their website yet.

I hope others will share their own experiences to save you from going to Davao since you are pregnant.

Im also from Davao. I had my k1/k2 interview 2 years ago. and requested for Visa Pick up ,. I just really tried ,.who knows maybe they will say yes, if they will say no, then fine. and the CO told me that i can pick up the visa the next day ..

I really dont know what will make them say Yes or no.. but just give it a try.. and if not, just like what NOr said, to write down the address of the hotel where ur staying,..

I sure do hope that they will say YEs..

If ever they will say Yes, no need to write any address or pay for courier coz youll gonna pick it up yourself .

If the US embassy didnt do some renovation, youll pick up your visa at window 33 or 34..

I have a very complicated k1/k2 this time, but i will also ask for visa pick up.. heheh

When you notice that the CO is starting to arrange the documents again, and start giving you back some of the docs, by then.,.. Please pray that he will go pick up the PInk sticker..lol.. youll notice those stickers coz its just infront of him..stickers and slips for "AR"...then u can say something like " By the way Sir, may we request..blah blah blah.. "..

But really, every CO is different you know..

Just dont be nervous... for real.. make sure you know where u put each particular documents ..so if, and only if, he will ask for something , you have the presence of mind..

You MUST submit the request in WRITING and SIGNED at the Interview with the CO. The letter should explain why - the Davao issue. If you are successful you will be given a pickup tag and they will write down your cell phone number on the part of the tage they retain with your file!

If I recall correctly, you as a Philippine citizen were Petitioner on your last USA divorce, which is not recognized under Philippine law, hence you are still married in the RP.

Now you are hoping the USEM MNL will let you slide through with full disregard for the laws of your country and give you another Fiancee Visa while you are still married under Philippine law.

It is because of people like you, that.......................
