About 2months ago I was denied by immigration officer on 2nd interview . On 2nd interview my husband and I did separate interview and we couldn't prove that our marriage is real....and today I have received letter for 3rd interview. It says " ask for deportation officer" and " reason for appointment ...interview/immigration status" I'm thinking...why DEPORTATION officer is going to give me a interview ???!! and this is only me not my husband!! 3rd interview is going to be only me. my husband and I sent letters for appeal that our marriage is real after failing 2nd interview . I wonder ... did they accept our appeal letters or not ...they still think that our marriage is fake?... I have no ideal what is going to happen on 3rd interview... is there anyone who had 2nd interview and failed and did 3rd interview? and what are they going to do on 3rd interview?

AOS interview? If so, did you not submit enough proof to show a bonafide marriage, like joint tax, some letters showing that you live together in the same address, pictures together and his family, joint bank account, from the company insurance where he worked that you are his beneficiary, health insurace card, utility bills in both names...etc...

I hope someone can answer your question about failed interview for the 3rd time...but I hope they will approve you.

Thank you for answering my quote

We submitted some proofs but that was not enough , even they said easy to obtain. And I never paid tax in this country and I never worked in this country I got working permission after I got adjustment status but now they took my working permission and adjustment status . I only in this country for 11 months I couldn't get bills in both names . Even cellphone company denied me because I don't have credit history in this country. And I think one of reason that we failed is... we are still young . My husband's mother also wrote a letter that we are all living together at 1st interview but I guess it didn't work...

Speak to an immigration attorney before you attend that interview.

You probably won't want to go without him or her in attendance with you.

Thank you for your quote

We got lawyer but after failing 2nd interview.. she doesn't even call my husband I think we have to pay again more....I know I should bring my lawyer to interview...this green card thing makes me so depress and I feel like a criminal :(

Is your husband working? If so, he can file a joint tax to both of you. Put you as a his primary beneficiary to his insurance.

Like the other's advice get another immigration lawyer.

Could you give us more information like what type of visa you used to enter the U.S, when or where you got married, when did you file for AOS, what evidences were you asked for and all that stuff. Maybe we would be able to identify easier why you got denied on ur 2nd interview or why you were given a 2nd interview. I doubt that your age is the issue.

Did your lawyer even explain to you in detail why you were denied?

Having the word "deportation" in a letter from immigration is never a good thing.
