Do you Guys know if a person entered with K1 visa (Fiancée) can apply a Travel document instead of advance Parole? or it has to be after the green card is received?

K-1 VISA

I-129F SENT: 12/09/2008

Visa Received : 11/05/2009

Marriage : 12/24/2009

AOS

I-485 SENT : 02-22-2010 Received by USCIS text message: 03/03/2010

BIO: 03-26-2010

INTERVIEW: 06-08-2010

APPROVAL: 06/08/2010

CARD RECEIVED:

EAD

I-765 SENT: 02-22-2010 Received by USCIS text message: 03/03/2010

BIO: 03-26-2010

CARD RECEIVED:05/24/2009

AP

I-131 SENT: 02-22-2010 Received by USCIS text message: 03/03/2010

NOA hard copy: 03-08-2010

DOCUMENT RECEIVED: 05/10/2009

As far as I know Travel Document and Advance Parole are the same thing. Now, you can apply for it at the same time you apply for AOS or afterwards, however, if after you receive the Green Card, then you no longer need it.

09/14/09 - AP & EAD approved - Card Ordered
09/18/09 - AP Received in the mail
09/21/09 - EAD Card received in the mail
09/25/09 - AOS Approved
09/29/09 - Green Card Sent
10/02/09 - Green Card Received.
12/18/09 - Got my Drivers License.

ROC
06/27/11 - I-751 Sent.
07/01/11 - NOA.
08/15/11- Biometrics appointment.
03/17/12- ROC Approved - No Interview.

Naturalization
01/21/15 - N-400 Sent

04/15/15 - Became a US Citizen

Timeline

when you file for AOS at the same time you can apply for Advance Parole, all fees are included in the AOS fee but if you file separately you have you Aprox $400 for just AP

After she gets her Green card, she is on her own, she can travel any where she wants and come back to the US without any problem.
