nvc and embassy

nvs send my packet to turkey embassy on october 9,2009, i called embassy today oct 25,2009 and they do not have my packet(any record) yet!!!!!!!!!!!! ?????????

this is an email i recieved from embassy:

After a thorough search of our files, we are unable to locate a record/file at our office under the case number given in your e-mail. It appears that your file is still being processed at the National Visa Center. You may contact the NVC to inquire about the status of this file. Please click on http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3177.html for contact information of NVC.

I would call Department of State just to verify as they can tell you exactly where your case is at. As long as you have your NVC case number they can tell you the status of your petition. Do you have the number?

yes i called nvc they said that send my packet to embassy but when i called embassy they do not have my case after 15 days

Did you call department of state? They have more information then NVC.

You can track your shipment, although it is not 100% accurate because you never know which package is yours.
