yeah it appears you don't, could be a line up though. Anyone here have a recent experience at the consulate in Vancouver during the 3-4 period on friday?

We DCF'd at the Vancouver consulate in March..

When we went, there was a line-up outside, but it turned out to be for something else:-)

So, walk past the line-up and go to the front door and ask the security guard...if there IS a line-up for the I-130 filers, he'll point you to it. But my guess is, there won't be...there wasn't for us anyway...

You'll go through security and get taken to a different floor.

I think there were a few other people that day, but we were out of there in an hour!

HTH and good luck!

Just a note that it actually says Friday between 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm - not 3-4, would not be fun if you showed up when they had already closed off for that week :)

Good eye Trailmix!

And that reminds me, b/c it's between 2 and 3pm, make sure you don't park at a metre on the street... You're not allowed to park at those after three, so if you take a little longer, your car may be ticketed and towed... There is a parking lot across the street if I recall correctly...may not be directly across, but it's on the other side of the street, maybe part-way down the block...
