On the I-864, part 3, item 10, they ask

"10. Enter the total number of immigrants you are sponsoring on this form from Part 3, Items 8 and 9. [ ][ ]"

I initially put 1 principal immigrant, no family members - 1, 0 - which is confusing because it looks like "10". Is this correct?

I got an RFE, and our new sponsor that we got, brought this to our attention. Later in the form they use this "10" to add to other numbers in a column.

Numerically, it doesn't make sense - but I remember reading instructions where they said this was correct.

Thank you!

And it passed? Doesn't that mean sponsoring 1 family member and no immigrant? :/

Hi Gordon,

I also entered [0] [1] which I think is correct for sponsoring the principal immigrant and no family members. Family members would be listed in line 9 a through 3 if there were any. I just entered NONE on line 9 a and didn't check the box on line 9.
