Do affidavits/letters from family and friends need to be notarised

My fiancee and I are getting married in less than 2 weeks. I have a work visa. We're looking at what we need to do for the AOS.

I read we should probably have letters from family and friends supporting that are marriage is legit.

Does anyone have any templates for this?

also do we need to get them notarised and if so how do we go about doing this?

We hope to have joint bank accounts etc too - but are not sure if we will have thsoe things on time. My fiancee has added me to one of his credit cards. He's also looking at adding me to his car insurance.

i'm changing my life insurance beneficiary to him. I have phone records and photos.

Just wondering what other evidnce we will need and wanted some letter guidelines to give to friends and family.

Not necessarily but I would notarize the most important ones.

We submitted like 1 o 2 notarized and the rest just signed and dated.

There is not template since it's supposed to be a statement, just tell them to write the truth and answer the W's and H's

Who, What, When, Where, How...

To submit the petition, you are only required to send the certified copy of the the marriage certificate and ONE proof of bonafides of your marriage. So, you could use a credit card statement with bot of your names on it, paperwork that establishes you are his benefitiary on the health insurance/car insurance. You only HAVE to submit one thing with your AOS,and you are supposed to bring more to the interview. As for the affidavits, you can get them notarized at your bank for free. I heard people got away with only sending the marriage certificate, but usually you will get a RFE (request for evidence) to submit more proof.
