After the AOS fee is paid and your Choice of Agent form is accepted, your SO will receive the AOS package. Fill that up. Your IV bill will be generated and once that is paid by the agent, you need to fill in the DS 230 and send it with the rest of the required documents. You can also fill that up now and send it to the USC spouse and he can print off the barcoded cover letter once the IV bill is paid and send it along with the I-864 package so as to avoid a false RFE.

ds3032 will be accepted after 2 weeks...you send your AOS packet and check online if the IV bill says "not paid" (usually its two weeks after sending ds3032) and this means ds3032 is accepted in their system...good luck..check my timeline below

You can send the I-864 package as soon as the $70 AOS bill is paid and you have a cover letter printed off. Download it off the net. You don't have to wait for them to send you the packet. And this part is related to the Petitioner and not the beneficiary (he/she takes care of the DS forms).

Once your DS 3023 form is accepted, it will generate the IV bill of $400. Pay that and take the barcoded cover letter and send that packet in with the rest of the documents.
