lulz.... mac

:| you try to be an illustrator/designer without one!

I hate macs because they are touted as top of the line machines without the proper context. I don't like that you cannot upgrade them, nor do they run a vast majority of business and game software. I previously worked as an accountant at a production studio. It was always funny telling the graphic artists and producers that they submitted their invoices in an unfamiliar format, that they had to use a PC or else they wouldn't get paid

How long ago was this? Macs have changed quite a bit in the last few years.

PS Anyone can do anything PC related on a mac with bootcamp. :D

Anyhoo, I will have to ask my husband about a printer, most printers these days can run on both pc and macs. I, like Marilyn prefer HP printers. I have never had a problem with mine. What kind and how much you are willing to spend is up to you.

Donne moi une poptart!

stay away from Lexmark printers.. they are evil :P

you can get a cheap one for about 30 bucks but the ink doesn't last long and the ink costs just as much if not more then the printer...

As a graphic designer myself, I love my Quad core PC -- works great. I use the Adobe suite, Quark and all that jazz and never had an issue.

We use Mac 5s at work -- pretty but about the same...

IMHO...
