Second K1 petition

My fiancee now was engaged to someone before and had file a K1 for her way back in 2001. The petition was approved but she didn't go through with it. Is that gonna be a problem w/ my current K1 petition for her?

I think you can apply for 1 every 2 years...but im not 100% sure.

Maybe thats just if you actually get the visa.

If this is your first K1 petition, you won't have any problems with the initial process. The fact that someone else petitioned for her in the past and that she didn't go through with it may very well come up at the interview. So she should be well prepared to talk about it. You may also want to ask this question in the regional forums since each consulate operates differently - hopefully you can find someone in the same position with more knowledge on this one. Hello I am from philippines ... i got a fiance petition before too and this time is the second petition .. When i went to US my X and I did not work good. And my cousin invite me to stay with her for couple days and before i go back to my country i meet my soon be husband and before my visa expired he propose marriage to me and he invite me to met his family and everybody accept me. I go back to my country and last january he filed for us to be together but its same fiance visa we been approve and right now were just waiting for the packet to arrive. I hope everything works good.. I just hope he will be able to be with me during my interview coz I want my fiance to be with me during that day coz i just want to be home with him.

He call up the immigration and tell him that my schedule would be this coming sept. I hope we got the packet so we can get everything ready
