You realize this is nothing more than political ploys, most likely funded by the Coal and Oil industries because Congress is getting closer to voting on a Climate Change bill?

Anyone concerned with climate change should be PLEASED by this good news and the government should jump all over this and verify it is true so we can all rest easier about our children's future. It is for the children! If it is ignored, sweot under the rug or dismissed as political games, it exposes the other side as being conserned only in goevernment control

To the conservatives...STAY THE ** outta my bedroom! All that naughty stuff you don't approve of IS FUN!

To The Liberals...STAY THE ** outta my garage, refrigerator, wallet, all of my body (not just uteruses), and my kids education! We are all doing fine, now buzz the ** off!

And if anyone can find any of that global warming stuff...send it up to Vermont will ya? It is supposed to SNOW tonight.

So in a nutshell this guy is arguing that heavy industry is actually beneficial to the environment.

That's like saying that vomiting is a good way to tone your stomach muscles; or that having high blood pressure means you have good circulation.

The Coal and Oil Industries are applying the same tactics that the Tobacco Industry had used for so many years to fight regulations....and people gobble their snake oil up like turkeys.

Attacking the messenger again.

Don't refute that there has been no "warming" since 1998 if they can call it that.

This must be the ice-age coming like in "The Day After tomorrow"

Joe - you seriously need to stop being such a whiny little girl.

 Looks like i defeated you long ago.. you have no response to me.

Anyway - The reason for the rush on this bill is precisely because it is getting cooler globally. They need to pass it now while a good number of people still believe in man-made global warming. Then, when they pass it, and the trend is still cooler temps, they can say "see? We just cooled the earth down..." or "things would be much worse if we hadn't passed this bill" Sound familiar?

Again Joe - what response do you think you are likely to get when all of your arguments are either insults, or else completely obsessed with partisan politics?

Lets try again. I read the article - I found the claim about industrial CO2 being good for plants to be disingenuous. That is my opinion.

What is yours?

Do you ride a bicycle or do you drive a car.

I levitate.

I hope that's Tibetan Levitation (bells and mysticism) and not the more common, environmentally unfriendly version where you eat several lbs of broccoli and raise yourself off the ground with the resulting gas propulsion.
